Embryo culture (using various culture systems) including blastocysts ICSI TESE, MESA Assisted Hatching, Embryo Biopsy Embryo Cryopreservation, Vitrification, Egg vitrification Andrology, sperm preparation , semen cryopreservation Quality Control Set-up/Implementation Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement Plan Precise Record Keeping, Patient Care Reports Follow established protocols and guidelines in your laboratory Team work and communication between laboratory and clinical staff
Embryology Laboratory Director Quaterly on-site visits to the laboratory Laboratory support by phone/email New laboratory set up Equipment purchase and set-up Manage and supervise staff embryologist(s) for certification by CAP Initial CAP CERTIFICATION of a new laboratory, CAP inspection(bi-yearly) and CAP self evaluation California Tissue Bank License compliance/regulations Participate in the clinic’s FDA and CLIA compliance/regulations Prepare and review policy manual, safety manual, write NACLLS format protocols, OSHA compliance Quality control management, quality assurance, laboratory statistics Proficiency testing review Laboratory trouble shooting, Quality improvement Optimization of pregnancy outcomes thru excellent laboratory practice Work under direction of the medical director
