o    Egg retrieval, Embryo transfer

o    Embryo culture (using various culture systems) including

      Blastocyst Culture

o    ICSI

o    TESE, MESA

o    Assisted Hatching, Embryo Biopsy

o    Embryo Cryopreservation, Vitrification

o    Andrology, sperm preparation , semen cryopreservation

o    Quality Control Set-up/Implementation

o    Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement Plan

o    Precise Record Keeping, Patient Care Reports

o    Follow established protocols and guidelines in your laboratory

o    Team work and communication between laboratory and   clinical staff

o    Work under direction of the laboratory director or self- directed

o  Quaterly on-site visits to the laboratory 

o  Laboratory support by phone/email

o  New laboratory set up

o  Equipment purchase and set-up

o  Manage and supervise staff embryologist(s) for certification by CAP

o  Initial CAP CERTIFICATION of a new laboratory, CAP inspection(bi-yearly) and CAP self evaluation

o  California Tissue Bank License compliance/regulations

o  Participate in the clinic’s FDA and CLIA compliance/regulations

o  Prepare and review policy manual, safety manual, write NACLLS format protocols, OSHA compliance

o  Quality control management, quality assurance, laboratory statistics

o  Optimization of pregnancy outcomes thru excellent laboratory practice

o  Work under direction of the medical director
